The Scottish National Funneloniums are once again participating in the fun and revelry at the forthcoming Copshaw Common Riding on Saturday 2nd July at Newcastleton.
Success
Building on the success of last year’s workshop (which saw children build useable plastic instruments from plastic piping, funnels and plastic mouthpieces) it is hoped that a similar event will see even more people take part in the end of day plastic band march.

Delight
A spokesperson told 4BR: "It was a delight to see enthusiasts of all ages (the event is not restricted to children) master basic note production and rythm in a very short space of time and then join in a big fun part of the festivities."
Extensive roll
This year will also see a more extensive roll for the Fanfaralloniums which will provide rousing commencements to nearly all the important ceremonies of the big day.
