Corby Silver Band has announced the appointment of Richard Graves as their new Musical Director

The talented musician brings many years of experience to his new post as both a high profile player and conductor. Most recently he has conducted the Watford Band.

Richard told 4BR: "I’m looking forward to the new challenge as Corby have a good core structure to the band.

I aim to build on the standard of playing and increase the confidence of the players, performing as a good concert band, and continuing to participate in contests as the band's playing ability improves."
