The AW Parker (Drybrook) Band has announced that they ended their association with MD, Kevin White.

Amicable

The amicable decision comes after a fruitful tenure of seven years during which the band has twice been promoted to the Third Section, and represented the West of England at the National Finals.

Latterly the band has won five of its last seven contests.

New direction

A spokesperson informed 4BR: "It is always difficult to end any relationship, especially one that has been as long and rewarding as this.

However, looking forward to our return to the Third Section in 2012, the band feels a change of direction is needed in order to build further on our recent successes."
