The popular Morley March & Hymn Tune contest will take place on Sunday June 19th, with the last date for entries to register June 1st.

The adjudicators are Derek Broadbent & Malcolm Brownbill, with the overall winners picking up the Crispin Trophy and £500.

Traditional format

The format of the contest sees a traditional road march followed by three verses of a hymn tune and a contest march. The event is open to all bands from Championship Section to Youth. All music is own choice.

Generous prizes

There are generous prizes on offer for the podium finishers (£275 & £150) with £100 each for the highest places section bands in the First and Second Section.

There is £75 on offer for the best Third, Fourth and Youth bands, £60 for the best march and hymn tune.
