Linz set to host ITEC Conference

Linz is already putting things in place for next year's ITEC Conference.

Linz in Austria is already getting ready to host the 2012 International Tuba and Euphonium Conference, which will take place in and around the city between June 23 and 30th next year.

Outstanding event

Artistic Director Steven Mead has told 4BR that it promises to be an outstanding event, with features such as entertainment contest to be held at the spectacular RoseGarten just outside Linz, where the chosen finalists will play and will judged by a distinguished panel including members of Mnozil Brass.

Mnozil Brass will also perform in the famous Brucknerhaus – home to the 2010 European Brass Band Championships as well as Brass Band Oberösterreich.

During the week the very best euphonium and tuba soloists in the world will be performing, with exciting world premieres planned as well as special concerts dedicated to Rolf Wilhelm and Philip SparkeSteven Mead

Cambrian Brass
