Willson UK Euphonium artist Charley Brighton recently premiered a new version of John Rutter’s, 'Suite Antique' for Euphonium & Winds.

Originally for flute & string orchestra with harp, John Holland made the masterly transcription with permission from the OUP.

It was premiered by Charley accompanied by the BBC Elstree Concert Band, conducted by Andrew Morley, at the closing concert for the Dorchester Abbey (Oxon) Music Festival.

Charley told 4BR: "Four of the six movements were featured and it is hoped to perform and record the entire work in the near future."
