Elland Silver Band's 22nd Annual Slow Melody & Quartet was held on Sunday 8th May in the bandroom, where adjudicator was Kevin Wadsworth enjoyed over 40 entrants aged form 8 to over 80!

Speaking at the results ceremony adjudicator Kevin Wadsworth remarked on the success of the day. He remarked how much he had enjoyed the standard of playing especially in the 11 & under section.

Youngest Player: George Kelly — age 8 ( Elland Silver Training)

Adjudicators Award — given at the adjudicators discretion, was awarded to 10 year old Eb bass player Alex Cockburn of Dobcross Youth Band. Kevin gave him the award because of his 'True Grit'
