Entries are being invited for the 22nd Haverhill Sinfonia Soloist Competition, which takes place on Saturday 24 September.
The closing date for entries is 18th August.
Categories
Categories are Brass, Piano, Singers, Strings (including guitar and harp), and Woodwind. Competitors may be of any age and nationality and should be of diploma standard, or at least ABRSM grade 8 distinction.
Prizes
There are 35 prizes and engagements to the value of £8,075 to be won, including solo performances with Airedale Symphony Orchestra, Arnold Sinfonia, Lambeth Orchestra, and Orchestra of the City as well as many solo recitals.

Judges
The adjudicating panel will be Kevin Hill MBE (Music Director, Haverhill Sinfonia & Arnold Sinfonia), Stephen Bryant (Leader, BBC Symphony Orchestra), Timothy Lines (Professor of Clarinet, Royal College of Music & Royal Academy of Music),Colin Stone (Professor of Piano, Royal Academy of Music & Royal Northern College of Music and Artistic Director, LMT Chamber Ensemble).
