Open out...

The 4BR April Fool caught a few out again, but there will be real news of exciting developments at the British Open in the near future.

Symphony Hall

Thanks to those people who took the time to get in touch with us about the shattering news that the British Open will be implementing a phased withdrawal of the adjudicator’s box.

It seems we caught a few people out again.

Real news

Our thanks also to Martin Mortimer who kindly agreed to be part of the set up this year – although he does promise us that there are a number of exciting pieces of news about the British Open and Spring Festival contests to be released in the next week or so – although not about the judges box!

the chief engineer Sebastian Brant was a 15th century German writer whose most famous book, was called ‘Das Narrenschiff’ or ‘The Ship of Fools’4BR

Clues

By the way – the German firm of internationally renowned architects April die Narr Konstruktion Ltd are of course ‘April Fool Construction’, whilst the chief engineer Sebastian Brant was a 15th century German writer whose most famous book, was called ‘Das Narrenschiff’ or ‘The Ship of Fools’.

The angry adjudicator’s identity will be kept a secret though…
