A brand new Brass Band Summer School is set to take place in Germany later this year.
90 musicians
The event at the Musical Academy of North Rhine in Heek in Westphalia, will run from the 29th of August until the 4th of September and will see 90 musicians will meet to form three different bands.
Young players
Young players up to the age of 25 will play with the North-Rhine-Westphalia Youth Band under the leadership of Martin Schädlich whilst younger players will team up with the Schnupper Brass Band of North-Rhine-Westphalia conducted by Roman Marreck.
The artistic leadership of the course falls to the charismatic English conductor, who during the first two days will lead a team of six musical tutors in section rehearsals and workshops4BR

Advanced players will form the Academic Brass Band conducted by Richard Evans.
