Huw Thomas has been helping the Murley Band and the next generation of Northern Irish players.

Murley Silver Band recently welcomed back guest conductor Huw Thomas for two weekends of rehearsals in preparation for the forthcoming Brass Band League Spring Festival contest.

Boris Pinto told 4BR: "Huw was also in Northern Ireland conducting the newly formed North West Youth Brass Band. Several of Murley's players form part of this new group which aims to bring together young players from across the province of Ulster."
