Sell out at European

Big screen action to be used to help meet European demand in Montreux.

EBBA

EBBA has confirmed that due to the demand for tickets at this year’s European Championships in Montreux, the ‘Sold Out’ signs have already appeared for those still wanting tickets for the B Section and Own Choice discipline of the Championship Section.

Big screen

However, the organisers have taken the step of ensuring that as many people will be able to get a taste of what is going on in both contest by transmitting the action live to a big screen at the adjoining Miles Davis auditorium in the lower part of the Stavainsky Hall complex.

High demand

EBBA stated: "Since there is still a high demand for such tickets, the organisation committee has decided to transmit the film and sound of the contests in DVD quality into the Miles Davis Hall.

Owners of tickets for the evening Gala Concert, who have not been able to acquire a ticket for the day's contests, will have free access with their ticket for the Gala Concert to the Miles Davis Hall for this transmission."

The organization committee is convinced to have found a valid alternative for all those visitors who were not able to buy a ticket for the Saturday contestsEBBA

Special ticket

EBBA also confirmed that visitors wishing to follow the contest in the Miles Davis Hall, will have the possibility to acquire a special ticket for this event from the cashier's desk for CHF 25.00.

For the day, the Miles Davis Hall will be equipped with seats in concert configuration with free seating choice.

Alternative

EBBA added: "The organization committee is convinced to have found a valid alternative for all those visitors who were not able to buy a ticket for the Saturday contests."
