There was an understandable look of tiredness about Grimethorpe’s Shaun Crowther at the Yorkshire Area Championships in Bradford on the weekend, as the tuba star hadn’t got much sleep in the lead up to the contest.

Easy to see why

Shaun and wife Suzanne became the proud parents of a baby boy born on the Thursday before the contest, so it was perhaps easy to see why Shaun wore a tired but very proud look on his face as he took to the stage with the band.
