After finishing runners up at the North West Area Contest in the 2010, Besses Boys went one better in 2011 by taking the title for only the second time in its history.

MD James Holt told 4BR: "Last year was fantastic, but winning the top prize at Blackpool is unbelievable and a real testament to the effort put in by the whole band.
