120 competitors took part in the recent North Wales Solo, Duet & Quartet Contest at Y Galeri, Caernarfon on Saturday 12th February.
Great turn out
In the section for 10 to 12 year olds there were 34 competitors giving adjudicator Steve Pritchard-Jones in Studio 1 quite a headache.
Upstairs in Studio 2, adjudicator Keith Jones had a no less difficult task picking the winners from the keenly contested senior sections.
Both adjudicators commented on the high standard of playing they had heard during the day and said that they were encouraged by the obvious enthusiasm for brass playing in the area4BR
