Bristol Easton Salvation Army Band is launching a new initiative for its supporters by setting up a group called ‘Friends of Bristol Easton Band’ – led by Philip Wilby and Derick Kane.

Bandmaster Nathan Cole told 4BR: "We are keen to provide something new for our supporters as well as put on events that will attract people both old and new to the army.

We are delighted that Professor Wilby and Derick Kane are joining us for our forthcoming launch and we already have trombone virtuoso Brett Baker confirmed as our guest for next years event."

Weekend launch

‘Friends’ of the band are being invited to attend an open rehearsal this weekend, which will be led, by Derick Kane and Bandmaster Nathan Cole, before a spectacular evening concert.
