The Foss Dyke Band from Lincoln have said a fond farewell to baritone player Emma Gent who has become a member of Championship Section Barton Town.

Band Chairman Rick Anker told 4BR: "It is with regret that we accepted Emma’s resignation, but it is good to see people who have played with Foss Dyke showing ambition. Fortunately our preparations for the areas have not suffered as the band has been able to re-adjust quickly."
