The Tyldesley Band are getting stuck into their preparations for the North West Areas later this month by competing at the Brass at the Guild Hall this weekend.

Welcome

The band welcomes Andrew Crampton, who has joined on 2nd baritone. A former pupil at Fred Longworth High School, Andrew currently studies at Winstanley College in Wigan.

He takes on the seat from Harry Beaumont, who has moved onto the back row cornet section.

Addition

In addition Tony Jackson, who has joined on soprano from Formby. Tony works in Manchester and is the father of band manager Michael Jackson.
