Professor David King is to take on a playing role with Brighouse & Rastrick Band in the next few weeks – as the Australian will be featured by the band as their ‘guest’ soloist in a local concert at the end of February in the town.

Five time winner

Sandy Smith, Brighouse & Rastrick’s Resident Conductor, will be the musical director for the event, which will see the five time North of England solo champion remind people of his cornet playing skills.
