Camborne Town Band has announced a number of new signings ahead of the coming contesting season.
Back rowers
Jasmine Ryder-Pollard moves up from the Camborne Youth & B bands to join the back row cornet ranks, whilst Sharon Hollywood has played on principal cornet with Hayle and Lanner also boosts the back row
David Hamilton has found a new banding home following his move down from Scotland, where he played with Dalmellington & Annan Town Bands. The former tuba player with the National Youth Band of Scotland and European Youth Band joins on Eb bass.
Bari and perc
Rejoining the band following a break is baritone player Gavin Knowles, whilst Philip Trudgeon, currently principal percussionist with the Portsmouth Royal Marine Band (Royal Band) and founder of the Portsmouth Concert Orchestra, joins the percussion section.

The band is currently preparing for the season opening Yeovil Entertainment Contest and for the arrival of Garry Cutt for the West of England Regional Championships.
