Black Dyke tuba star Phil Goodwin made a high profile television appearance over Christmas, when he and members of the Delph Band appeared in ITV’s iconic soap opera Coronation Street.

Tram crash

Phil was conducting members of the Third Section National Champions in a carol service as part of the ongoing (or should that be never ending) storyline of a tram crash that culled a number of out of contract characters via Rita Fairclough’s sweet shop.
