Members of Coleshill Town Band recently braved the elements at their local Fort Shopping Park by playing carols to the hardy shoppers.
Blizzard conditions
Blizzard conditions did not deter the musicians who played-on despite freezing fingers, toes and in some cases, frozen instruments!
Carol playing this year has been especially important to the band in order to raise much-needed funds for some new uniform jackets, which have been ordered at a cost of £5,000.
Coleshill has had a particularly busy Christmas playing a number of local concerts including its annual concert, this year entitled 'Colours' as well as three performances of Handel’s 'Messiah'.
