EBBA reminds bands to book tickets for Montreux.

Bands competing at the 2011 European Championships in Montreux next year have been reminded by EBBA that they must ensure that they book tickets for the event for their players, and supporters as soon as possible.

High demand

With demand for tickets at the Montreux Music & Convention Centre very high, EBBA Vice President Kurt Bohlhalter told 4BR that it is essential that bands contact him direct to ensure that the performers and their supporters can also enjoy the competitions and concert at the stunning lakeside venue.

Allocation

"We have reserved 40 tickets for each competing band," Kurt told 4BR. "However, sales for the major events has been excellent and we cannot reserve the allocation for much longer. I would ask that representatives from the bands contact me direct so that we can ensure that players and their supporters can obtain their seats."

Although the Stravinski Auditorium is a cavernous hall it only contains 1800 seats, so demand is starting to outstrip supply according to Kurt4BR

"The 2011 European Championships is already proving to be a wonderful event, with excellent organisation. I would ask that bands to contact me as soon as possible so that we can ensure that no one is left disappointed."
