Grimethorpe Colliery Band has announced the retirement of Terry Webster as Band Manager.

14 years service

After 14 years Terry has decided to retire from the position, but will continue as a trustee of the band. He informed the band at their recent Annual General Meeting.

Peter Haigh, Chairman of Trustees, thanked Terry for his 14 years of unstinting service and commitment to Grimethorpe, and in recognition of his sterling service a presentation will be made to him at a forthcoming concert.

Replacement needed
