Enfield Citadel Band is due in the studio this week to record a new CD due for release in Spring 2011.

Connections

The CD will exploit the connections made between the band and well known former members, as well as featuring a plethora of works which have been composed or arranged for them.

Works such as Leslie Condon's 'Call of the Righteous' as well as those from the likes of Ray Farr, Edward Gregson, Dean Goffin, Philip Wilby and Ray Steadman-Allen will be documented.

Thrilled

Bandmaster Jonathan Corry told 4BR: "The contributions from these composers to the ongoing musical ministry of ECB is one which we are thrilled to display in this recording, and in broader terms is healthy for both the SA and contesting bands."
