Cornet case winner:

Sally Brown of Royton in Oldham was the winner of the last 4BR Quiz, by giving us the correct answer that Walter Gropius was the founder of the Bauhaus School of architecture and design.

Sally told 4BR: "The cornet case is a great prize and will find a very good home with my 16 year old daughter Jenny who plays cornet with the Oldham (Lees) Band."

Great prize

Jenny has been playing with Oldham since its formation in 2004 and is particularly delighted with the prize her mum says as the Bauhaus/Walstein hard shell case can accommodate four mutes.

"Jenny always has to carry her mutes around with her so the case is perfect. It’s a great prize and will definitely be used at all times!"
