The North Wales Brass Bands Association has announced the return of its annual Championships to Llandudno after an absence of 17 years.

Conwy County Council, have made the prestigious Venue Cymru Theatre on Llandudno’s waterfront available to the Association courtesy of a generous offer.

Association Chairman Dave Roberts told 4BR: "For many years we have had to hold this contest in school and town halls because of the high cost of the alternatives so we are delighted to be at Venue Cymru and are extremely grateful to Conwy County Council for their support."

The contest, which is open to bands from outside the Association, will be on Saturday 27th November.
