4BR is making its way to Harrogate to bring you all the thrills and spills, opinions and views on two great days of ‘National’ contesting.
Saturday morning
It all starts on Saturday morning at 9.30am when the bands in the Second Section battle for glory on Philip Wilby’s ‘Psalms & Alleluias’.
Straight after come with the bands with ambitions to not only take the First Section title but to go on and make a mark in 2011 in the Championships Section.
The First Section contenders will have to get to grips with George Lloyd’s ‘Diversions on a Bass Theme’ – and it should prove a cracker.
Sunday
On the stroke of 9.30am on Sunday morning, the Fourth Section contenders will be faced with a strong challenge in Alan Fernie’s, ‘Royal Mile Suite’ – always a great contest to enjoy.
Then, to round off an exhausting but enjoyable weekend, the Third Section rivals take us East of Scarborough to the wonders of China with Philip Harper’s ‘Willow Pattern’ inspired set work.
4BR coverage
4BR will be there in force of course, with our usual live coverage (fingers crossed with our server!), views and opinions before, during and after the event.

You can also follow us on twitter at #LSF2010: and we will be around looking to get a taste of the days events as they unfold with our audio recorder!
Say hello and give us your opinions too – especially if you take the opportunity to go into the main auditorium and listen to some great music played by some top notch bands.
