If you happen to be offered something from a Thornton’s brass band selection box, think again – it may be nicked.

Andrew Swann, Chairperson of Thornton Cleveleys Band, has informed 4BR that they have had a Schilke soprano cornet stolen from them.

The serial number of the instrument is 41576 and was stolen in its case along with 2 Vincent Bach mouthpieces (7C/4D) and a soprano cornet mute.
