Bolsover District Council has announced that they have secured a new three-year sponsorship deal with Sheffield based Mercury Newspapers for the forthcoming Bolsover Festival of Brass.
The Festival has attracted 47 entrants this year, and the new deal is seen as a major investment in helping to further enhance the profile of the event.

Contest Controller, Carole Crompton told 4BR: "We are delighted to have secured Mercury Newspapers as our primary sponsor and are looking forward to a good long-term relationship with them."
Carol added: "The festival itself is now one of the leading events of it’s kind in Britain and this new deal will help us to keep moving forward and improving. Sheffield Mercury Newspapers is well respected and we will be working with them to help their brand grow across the country."

The Bolsover Festival of Brass will be held on Sunday 3rd October 2010 at Post Mill Centre, South Normanton and Pinxton Village Hall.
