There is an exciting line up of post British Open bands at the Great Northern Brass Arts Festival in September.

The organisers of the 2010 Great Northern Brass Arts Festival, which will take place at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on 11th September, have announced the programme of the days music making — with a number of high profile bands to enjoy.

10.30am:
Foyer Concert: North Central Divisional S.A. Band and 2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band

11.30am:
Foyer Music: Scherzo Brass

12.00 noon:
Bridgewater Hall: The Household Troops Band

1.30pm:
Foyer Music: Brass Elements Tuba Quartet

2.15pm:
Bridgewater Hall: National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain

3.15pm:
Bridgewater Hall: Wardle Junior Band, Healey, Littleborough & St. James Junior School Bands

3.45pm:
Foyer Music: Brass Elements

4.15pm:
Bridgewater Hall: The Fairey (Geneva) Band

6.30pm:
Marching Display: The Household Troops Band

6.40pm:
Foyer Music: Scherzo Brass

7.15pm:
Bridgewater Hall: Black Dyke Band, Brighouse & Rastrick Band & Fodens Band
