After losing several players to university education, Sellers has also attracted new members, building right up to nearly a full compliment of players.
Alex told 4BR: "We are a very friendly band, committed to our youngsters giving them the best tuition and ensuring the survival of our musical heritage. Although tuba players are especially welcome we would love to see any new players for either Little Acorns or Sellers International Youth Band."

The band is looking forward to several concerts before the end of the year, and hopes to compete at the Action Research and National Youth Championships in 2001 as well as undertaking a tour to Paris.
