The BTM Band has had something of a structural overhaul, with the news that following several months of refurbishment they can now practice in what has been described as 'the most modern amateur music facility in Wales'.

That's Brass

Len Bowden, one of BTM’s life members, and Caerphilly Assembly Member Jeff Cuthbert, officially opened their new bandroom last month, amid music provided by the band’s 10-piece ensemble, 'That's Brass'.

Grant

The refurbishment project was made possible by a grant from the Welsh Assembly Government’s Community Facilities and Activities Programme, and now means that the bandroom is split over two floors to include several small rehearsal rooms and purpose built recording studio.
