RAF looking for old contacts

The Royal Air Force Music Service is looking to make contact with former musicians.

4BR has been informed that the Royal Air Force Music Services Association is looking to contact retired and former musicians of the service established bands, to invite them to consider joining the association.

Welcome

It is hoped that in so doing it will welcome them to renew past friendships with former colleagues.

John Dablin told 4BR: "Contact has been lost with many since their leaving the service and we hope to make available the means whereby membership application of the association may be made."

The RAF Music Services Association was founded in 1987, and exists to perpetuate the spirit of the service4BR

Blue and Gold

The RAF Music Services Association was founded in 1987, and exists to perpetuate the spirit of the service through means of contact through their magazine 'The Blue and The Gold', their annual reunion and their membership list.

Former members of the RAF Music Services with numerous bands and ensembles are eligible for membership, and are welcomed.

Over 80s

John added: "All former personnel over the age of 80 years are accorded free life membership."
