Black Dyke tuba star Joseph Cook and trumpeter Richard Martin of the Northern Sinfonia will feature as guest concerto soloists with the Sunderland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ray Farr this weekend.

The event at Durham Town Hall is part of the exciting fortnight of events in the Durham International Brass Festival.
The programme will see Joseph perform the Vaughn-Williams ‘Tuba Concerto’, whilst Richard will play the Hummel ‘Trumpet Concerto’.
