SWBBA Torquay Contest set for bands

The 64th SWBBA Contest in Torquay has released detail of the music to be performed for the Dennis Wilby in the box.

The 64th annual South West Brass Band Association championships will be held on Saturday 6th November at the Riviera International Conference Centre in Torquay.

Open

The Championships are open to member and non-member bands with 2010 national gradings being recognised, and will be adjudicated by Dennis Wilby.

Open (Championship & First): Own Choice
Second Setion: 'Kaleidoscope' — Philip Sparke
Third Section: 'Northern Landscapes' — Peter Graham
Fourth Section: — 'Four Cities Symphony' — Rodney Newton
Youth Section: Own Choice March and 'Petite Suite de Ballet' — Eric Ball
Ungraded Section: Own Choice — not exceeding 10 minutes
Training Band Section: Own Choice of any music not exceeding 10 minutes (this section only for Association bands)
