Trio of contenders open the Eden doors

Black Dyke, Fairey (Geneva) and Pemberton Old will all be holding open rehearsals this week as they preprae for the Preston front.

Three contenders for the prize of 2010 English National champion will be holding open rehearsals this week.

Black Dyke

Reigning champion Black Dyke will be holding their free open rehearsal at Morley Town Hall starting at 8.00pm on Thursday 24th.

As well as the rehearsal on 'Eden', Dr Childs and the band will run through a short concert programme too.

Admission is free and doors open at 7.30pm


Fairey will then end the evening with a further 'Eden' performance, to show that the first was not a fluke!4BR

Fairey (Geneva)

Meanwhile, Fairey (Geneva) will not only be holding a n open rehearsal this Thursday 24th, but will also host a concert to be given by the current Norwegian School Champion band, Tertnes, who are in the UK on tour.

The evening will be held at Eccles Congregational Church and will begin at 7.30pm with a performance of 'Eden' followed by a short concert by Tertnes.

Fairey will then end the evening with a further 'Eden' performance, to show that the first was not a fluke!

All are welcome and refreshments are available.


Pemberton Old Wigan DW

Finally, Pemberton Old Wigan DW Band will be opening their doors and inviting the public to an open rehearsal also on Thursday 24th at Trinity Methodist Church, Fleet Street, Pemberton.

Doors will open at 7.30pm and the rehearsal will commence at 8.00pm.

Entrance is free and all are welcome.
