The current National champion, Black Dyke recently treated brass band lovers on the south coast of England to a weekend of music making and masterclasses.
Packed
Just a week before their recent Brass Symposium in Leeds, the band travelled to Bournemouth to perform a concert at the Pavilion Theatre to a packed audience.
Thanks
Music Director Dr Nicholas Childs expressed his thanks to Jilly Hills, who sadly passed away earlier this year, for starting the series of concerts with her husband David Hills 13 years ago, with the aim of raising funds for the Wessex Heartbeat charity.

Masterclasses
After the Saturday evening concert the band moved on to the Highcliffe Secondary School on the Sunday morning for a series of masterclasses.
Nearly 100 students of all ages were treated to tuition followed by the full band joining the students in a massed concert.
Organiser Greg Cook told 4BR: "Our many thanks go to Dr Nicholas Childs and Black Dyke for their help and support."
