Watership Brass from Newbury in Berkshire is looking forward to their first ever band workshop this Sunday.
Day long event
The band will be directed by Dr. Chris Davis OBE who has accepted the band's invitation to work with its Musical Director Mark Picken for the day long event.
New venture
Mark told 4BR: "It's a new venture for the band and one I hope will encourage and inspire all the players. Whilst the band does not routinely contest, working on a test piece provides a different set of challenges for all the players. One of the main rehearsal items will be John Rutter's 'Suite for Brass'."
