Tuba star Les Neish recently performed as guest soloist with the Bristol Easton Salvation Army Band at their annual Spring Festival.
Les performed solos including, 'Higher Plane', 'Celestial Morn' and a new duet called, 'The Prayer', with the band's principal euphonium player Anthony Smith.
Rousing end
The concert also featured the wonderful singing of Susan Blyth and the Bristol Cathedral Chamber Choir.
All of the performers joined together to bring the concert to a rousing end with the Finale 'Lord of the Dance', specially arranged by Bristol Easton bandmaster Nathan Cole.

Double trouble
Les now prepares for a trip to Arizona for the International Tuba Euphonium Conference where he will perform Andy Scott’s 'Salt of the Earth' and Barbara Thompson’s 'Double Trouble' with his mentor James Gourlay.
The duo will also judge parts of the Young Artist Tuba Solo competition.
