4BR will be heading to Blackpool this weekend to savour the highs and lows of the Spring Festival at the Winter Gardens.

As it unfolds

The Grand Shield, Senior Cup and Senior Trophy contests take place throughout Saturday, and 4BR will be there to report on the action as it unfolds throughout the day.

4BR and Twitter

Follow each of the contests as we provide our thoughts on how each of the bands tackle 'Rococo Variations', 'The Year of the Dragon' and 'Le Roi d'Y's', both on the 4BR site and on 4BR Twitter at #springfest2010.

We will also be providing plenty of pictures, and with the help of Ian Clowes of Goldy Solutions we will also be producing video blogs too.

It all starts on the stroke of 10.00am and should be all over with the announcement of who goes up and down, and which two lucky bands head for Symphony Hall in September by around 6.30pm.
