Following the recent departure of Les Neish, Foden's have announced the signing of Gavin Wyn Saynor on solo Eb tuba.

Respected

The respected Welshman has previously played for Fairey, Leyland and YBS, and has a growing reputation as a succesful conductor with the Deiniolen Band.

Speaking about his appointment Gavin told 4BR: "I'm very excited about joining Fodens. They are a fantastic band and I have always enjoyed being a guest with them. I look forward to joining on a permanent basis and being part of their formidable bass section."

Thanks

Gavin also thanked his former band, Beaumaris: "I would like to wish Beaumaris all the best for the future. They are all close friends of mine and I will continue to help them out whenever I can. I look forward to playing with them at the Senior Trophy contest where hopefully I can help them to success."

Pleased

Foden's Mark Wilkinson commented to 4BR: "Gavin has deputised with Foden's a number of times over the past year and has fitted in extremely well. We are extremely pleased that he has accepted our invitation to join us. Gavin is regarded as one of the leading bass players in the country and brings a wealth of experience, as well as being a fantastic player and committed bandsman."
