Uckfield Concert Brass has announced the appointment of Nick Morris as their new Musical Director.

Delighted

Nick is looking forward to his new role and told 4BR: "I'm delighted to be joining Uckfield and am looking forward to working with them in what we all hope will be a new and exciting era for the band."

As well as conducting, Nick is the principal trombone for a variety of orchestral groups, The Salomon Orchestra and Chelsea Opera being the most notable as they regularly perform on the South Bank and St John’s, Smith Square.

In that time he has played for some outstanding conductors including Martyn Brabbins, Robin Ticciati, Howard Williams, Jason Lai, Nicholas Braithwaite and James Judd.
