Listen to the Band is moving to a new time slot — 10.30pm on a Thursday night.

The flagship BBC brass band programme, 'Listen to the Band' hosted by Frank Renton, is moving to Thursday night at 10.30pm.

The programme has previously been aired on a Friday evening, but from this Thursday, 8th April, it will be broadcast from 10.30-11pm.

The opening programme at the new time features highlights from Cory at this year's RNCM Festival of Brass in Manchester.
