Tom Davoren told 4BR: "There is such a depth of performing talent in the Welsh brass movement today. Combine this with our principality's rich compositional heritage and the number of rising composers in British banding today a festival of this nature in our nations capital seems long overdue. With composers in attendance, renowned musicians on stage and the insight of presenter Nigel Seaman, its certainly not your average brass band concert!"
