One of the brass band movement's foremost young composers is set to enjoy hearing a number of his orchestral works played by leading ensembles over the coming weeks.
The BBC Symphony Orchestra directed by Andre de ridder will be performing Gavin Higgins new work, 'Dancing At The Edge Of Hell', along with new pieces by Ian Vine and Michael Langemann in London in March. The concert will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
Meanwhile, the renowned Azalea Ensemble will be performing his 'Rage Dances' at the Royal Academy of Music in April.
