After being part of a high profile advertising campaign for the BBC 2 programme ‘A Band for Britain’, it has been revealed that Dinnington Colliery Band has secured what is reported to be a £1 million recording contract.
The report in the Daily Mail newspaper states that the band, which will compete in the Fourth Section of the Yorkshire Regional Championships in Bradford on Sunday, has secured the deal with music giants Universal.
