Black Dyke, Cory and Fodens are set to appear on BBC Radio 3 next week as highlights of the RNCM Festival of Brass are aired.
Euphonium's featured
The euphonium trio of David Childs, David Thornton and Glyn Williams will be featured giving their concerto performances.
David Childs can be heard on 5th March playing the Karl Jenkins ‘Euphonium Concerto’, whilst the Black Dyke star is featured playing Torstein Aagaard-Nilsen's ‘Concerto No.2’ on Monday 1st March.
Glyn Williams' performance of ‘Song of the Brother’ by Eric Leizden will be aired on the Thursday.
Cory's Titan
Cory will be featured performing Hermann Pallhuber's ‘Titan's Progress’ as well as a welcome reprise of the 2002 Open test, John McCabe's ‘The Maunsell Forts’.
Both performances can be heard on Tuesday 2nd March. Two days later, the European Champion is heard again performing Aagaard-Nilsen's ‘Circius’.

Foden's Cutt
Foden's under the direction of Garry Cutt will appear on Monday 1st, Wednesday 3rd and Friday 5th March.
Eric Ball's ‘Journey into Freedom’ can be heard next Monday, whilst the Wednesday programme is devoted to the Sandbach band performing Elgar Howarth's ‘In Memoriam RK’, the first UK performance of Aagaard-Nilsen's ‘Chant’, and the first performance of ‘Suite for Brass Band: Scherzo’ by Wilfred Heaton adapted by Paul Hindmarsh.
The final offering of the week is another first performance, this time courtesy of Andy Scott's ‘Battle of Barossa’.
Afternoon on 3
The highlight's of the RNCM Festival will form part of Radio 3's afternoon schedule entitled 'Afternoon on 3'.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday's programmes are on air from 4.15 — 5.00pm with Wednesday going out around an hour earlier at 3.20 — 4.00pm.
All the programmes can be heard via the BBC iplayer upto a week after transmission.
