BBC Radio 2 is repeating the series first aired last year which looks at Britain's love affair with Brass Bands.

Stephen Tompkinson presents a four-part celebration of the UK's long love affair with brass band music entitled 'Brass Britain'.
The series looks at the roots of brass bands, the importance of brass band dynasties and how brass has influenced the musical careers of today's top artists and there are also some thoughts from 4BR's Editor, Iwan Fox.
Tuesday's at 11.30pm
In programme one, singers Dana and Omar reflect on how brass bands influenced their own musical careers. Yorkshire poet Ian McMillan, actor Tony Booth and former Labour leader Neil Kinnock discuss their earliest memories of brass bands and Terry Wogan talks about his brush with brass in The Floral Dance
Brass Britain is on BBC Radio 2 from this Tuesday (12th) at 11.30pm and thereafter via the bbciplayer.
