Llanrug pack 'em in for Christmas

The Llanrug Band recently ended their year by packing an audience in for their Christmas Concert and Awards.

The Llanrug Silver Band recently held their Annual Christmas Concert at their village Primary School.

The evening was a great success with the small school hall packed to the rafters with supporters.

Awards

During the evening the presentation of two awards was made.

The 'Terry Lloyd Jones Memorial Trophy', which is awarded annually to the young member who has made the greatest contribution to the band by regular attendance and musical improvement was made to baritone player Dyfrig Owen.
